Kasumi catalyst - It can carbonize on-site organic waste mixed with plastic at 80-200°C

Kasumi catalyst provides an on-site solution to carbonize mixture of food waste (90% or more) and plastic waste (up to 10%) at a lower temperature than conventional alternatives.

Since food waste is often mixed with plastic waste, its incineration requires very high temperature resulting in the emission of dioxin, tar and a significant amount of greenhouse gas. Thanks to its low-temperature, continuous patented technology, this affordable and compact solution is more economically viable compared to pyrolysis or incineration and can be powered with renewable energy in off-grid areas. Kasumi catalyst allows airlines, food factories, airports, cities and many others to stop shipping their organic waste to centralized, remote facilities and start their own waste management system on site.
