Urban-hub creates eco-friendly connected street furniture, combining design and technology. Our aim is to develop the sustainable connected city for a livable future. We assist public authorities as well as private organisations in this process of transformation of public or semi-public spaces. Our added value lies in understanding the current challenges and the creative responses we can provide. Even if the challenges remain similar for most of the cases, each project requires a specific and identity-based approach. The first product that we have lunched is a connected solar bench. With its solar panels we recharge smartphones, laptops and more energy consuming e-bikes. The promotion of renewable energy but also of soft mobility... The Solar bench seat is made of a composite material made from rice peel and is 100% recyclable. Equipped with a computer, anyone in proximity of the furniture is able to interact with it using a dedicated App. The furniture and equipment are made in Switzerland We develop unique concepts combining technology and design to improve quality of life and sustainability.
