About
Since its launch in 2010, Treedom has planted more than 1,000,000 trees in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Italy.
In the last decades, we have witnessed how environmental deterioration has had effects on the natural world and social well-being. Treedom decided to take concrete action by focusing on the deforestation and mismanagement of forest systems in rural communities.
All trees are planted directly by local farmers and produce environmental, social and economic benefits.
Treedom directly finances small agroforestry projects around the world, realizing sustainable ecosystems and allowing thousands of farmers to support the initial costs of planting trees, ensuring food autonomy and income opportunities over time.
Every tree has an online page, is geolocated and photographed, and can be kept for oneself or gifted to others. This approach is unique, offering a tree planting service with a high level of transparency, engagement, and versatility.
Thanks to this business model, Treedom has been part of the Certified B Corporations since 2014, the network of companies that stand out for their significant environmental and social accomplishments.

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label seeks to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, bringing together protection of the environment and financial viability to show that these solutions are not expensive fixes to problems, but rather opportunities for clean economic growth.
