About

Magnax is building next-generation electric motors based on axial flux technology. We have developed a unique, proprietary variant of yokeless axial flux machines, which can provide a step change in efficiency, size, reliability, manufacturing resource requirement, and cost-effectiveness. The new technology is used for electric motors in electric vehicles with a high power density and efficiency requirement. The patented axial flux technology is backed by 6 years R&D ( in collaboration with University Ghent) and 3 years prototyping.

Other products

Magnax develops both inrunner as outrunner yokeless axial flux motors. Our motors can go much higher in power/torque density compared with traditional electric motors in aviation due to the more effective motor topology. 30Nm/kg continuous torque density is possible. Motors can be watercooled, aircooled or oilcooled.
