Global-WET lets the world tap the sustainable energy of volcanoes by relying on lossless wireless energy transfers.
Volcanoes do not generate man-made pollution and unwanted emissions.
Volcanoes deliver a constant (day/nigh and winter/summer) energy.
Volcanoes are ubiquitous and therefore limit geopolitical frictions.
Energy-grids are fragile, costly, and generate pollution and emissions.
Energy-grids suffer from transmission losses (tens of billion Euros in Europe).
Energy-grids are costly to deploy and maintain (Euros 0.7-2 millions per km).
WET will let Africa and Asia deploy electrification and Telecoms without the costs and hurdles of a critical infrastructure (that they did not afford to finance so far: 2 billion people lack access to electricity).
In rich countries, energy supply safety, prices stability, and the opportunities for the IoT and mobility (trains, tramways, ev-cars, boats, planes) justify to consider WET deployments.
