About

Too Good To Go is a social impact company that brings people together to fight food waste by connecting customers with suppliers that have unsold, surplus food. The app was launched in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2016 and has been downloaded more than 18 million times. Together, its users have saved more than 27 million meals in 14 different countries across the company's 36,000+ partners that include Carrefour, Paul, Costa, Accor, Yo! Sushi, Morrisons and Scandic. The company’s core mission is to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste. Through its B2C food waste application, it creates direct impact against climate change by preventing edible food from being wasted. To drive for further impact, it is building 'The Movement Against Food Waste' at four levels: Households, Businesses, Schools, and Public Affairs. Through this it works to create further impact against food waste by raising awareness of the issue in households, empowering businesses to take action, educating younger generations, and driving for policies that will push food waste further up the agenda for all levels of government.
