About

The relentlessly increasing capacity and density of today’s batteries and the democratization of the drone technology led to the beginning of a new page for the historical aviation, with the so- called eVTOLs: a new kind of electric aircrafts. Flying cars are on their way. With many economical and ecological advantages, we strongly believe air urban mobility is meant to emerge soon in our city, on a large scale. In order to do so, major requirements need to be met for the population to massively adopt this new technology. Our vision is then that urban mobility needs to be as quiet and affordable as possible. In order to provide exactly that, we designed an autonomous single-passenger aircraft. The autonomous feature, despite adding technical challenge, allows a lighter and smaller aircraft, which means quieter, more discreet. Same goes for the single- passenger feature: it helps reducing the aircraft weigh and does not seem to reduce the potential target customers as more than 70% of our daily urban trips are made alone. And at the end of the day, the lighter the aircraft, the less energy required to operate a trip, which means a reduction in both electricity cost and battery fatigue cost. A price ranging from 1 to 2 euros per kilometer can then be expected: cheaper than a current Parisian taxi. Our final product is meant to be a fleet of autonomous operating in a city (intra-urban trips) by making the connection between bus-stop-like stations. All aircrafts are stored in a centralized charging station. At any time, a customer can order a flight from an app, and wait to the closest stations for his personal aircraft, which will transport him to the stop the closest from his destination. Our final-product will then be a turnkey-solution for medium to large cities which desire to diversify their transport offer as well as their attractiveness.
