About

A post-harvest automation platform that optimizes perishable food value chains, we are currently working on fish & dairy value chains and there is potential in the future for us to examine meat and poultry as well. We use Machine Learning to predict the expiration date, Immutable Ledger to secure traceability and we put a QRCode on product packaging so we can expose the provenance and quality from farm to fork! The platform combines 3 core modules (i) Traceability Automation (ii) Quality (iii) Consumer Engagement. (i)The Traceability module uses IoT sensors to digitize operations, securing harvest, transport, processing etc details till the supermarket, on to an immutable ledger. (ii) The Quality Module uses A.I. and IoT food sensor inputs (time, temperature & NIR) to deliver real-time food quality control on the field. It also leverages predictive microbiology to forecast the expiration date (by estimating bacterial populations) early on in the value chain, helping FBOs know where and how food should be processed or sold, reducing risk and cost. (iii) The CEM is staged to provide a holistic view of the food’s story (provenance & quality) to consumers, through a QR-code placed on product packaging. The platform’s value proposition: 1. Reduce costs and food losses (Up to 20% reduction of overharvest) 2. Improve food quality monitoring ( Up to 10% reduction of food downgrading) 3. Increase consumer’s Willingness to Pay (Up to 2% Revenue Growth) 4. Secure traceability compliance
