Still have questions about the label?
In 2019, Bertrand Piccard will undertake a new round the world journey to present the 1000 labelled solutions to decision-makers in businesses and governments. This aims at encouraging them to adopt more ambitious environmental targets and energy policies, which are necessary to unlock the full potential of labelled solutions.
Of course, our mission doesn’t stop at 1000 solutions. We will continue granting the label to solutions after we’ve reached 1000, but only the 1000 first ones will be included in the portfolio.
Thanks to the continued support of its partners, the Solar Impulse Foundation can fund the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions and offer all services to the labelled solutions entirely free of charge.
The overall process should take approximately 3-4 weeks:
- First, you must become a Member, which takes only a few minutes.
- Then you must submit your solution, which can take up to 2 hours.
- The experts must assess your solution in maximum 2 weeks.
- The World Alliance must review the assessment and make a final call about granting the label to your solution.
The Solar Impulse Foundation will bring as much visibility as possible to the labelled solutions by creating content (e.g: articles, interviews, videos, photos…) and sharing it on our social media channels.
The Solar Impulse Foundation will do matchmaking between Labelled solutions, investors, and solution seekers (government officials, corporates, city officials…).
As a labelled solution, you might receive speaking opportunities and event invitations, and discounts to relevant events.
