Lombard Odier has appointed Droople to improve water management in its new building in Bellevue (GE)

By 2024, Lombard Odier Bank will have nearly 2,000 employees in Bellevue, a village located a stone’s throw away from Geneva, currently spread across six sites. The banking institution has long relied on cutting-edge technologies to participate in the ecological transition and achieve its sustainability objectives. In this context, it has appointed Droople to improve water management in its new building. Thanks to the digitization of water-related data collected at every point-of-use, Lombard Odier Group will have real-time access to report its environmental impacts of its evolving consumption. The technology developed by Droople will thus enable the Group to pursue its ecological ambitions concerning water consumption.

Sirea launched an Installer Directory

Faced with the growing number of requests for the range of self-consumption cabinets, Sirea has built a network of trained and certified installers to deploy their solutions, which allows them to offer their AEA cabinets all over France. This new directory allows individuals to find in a few clicks a certified installer near them, and to see the providers offering self-consumption photovoltaic systems labeled Origine France Garantie, as is the case for their storage cabinets. Armoire AEA is an electric cabinet with recycled batteries to optimize photovoltaic self-consumption for residential use.

NatureMetrics launches world-first ‘PollutionTracker’ using DNA technology to track wastewater and improve river health 


The issue of water pollution in our rivers is high on the public agenda. NatureMetrics expects that this new monitoring service will lead to regulators and other standard setters, such as the Task force for Nature Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) mandating better monitoring, creating a level playing field for their customers. SEADS Sea Defence Solutions in the Economist's Top 10 Ocean Technologies 



The World Ocean Initiative's Ocean Change makers Challenge aims to showcase leading change makers working to develop business solutions to ocean-related sustainability challenges. It is aimed at early-career researchers or professionals. The three winners were part of an impressive shortlist of ten entries. SEADS is among the seven entries that made the shortlist alongside the three winners. SEADS' technology uses the water flow to accompany plastic litter towards a collection basin on a side of the river, where it can easily be removed and recycled. They are built in 2 or more modules to allow boat navigation and guarantee no impact on river life. Designed to resist to any river condition thanks to stainless-steel cables structure, they represent a permanent solution to dramatically reduce the quantity of plastic reaching the Oceans.

H55 Receives Minority Investment from RTX Ventures


RTX Ventures, the venture capital arm of Raytheon Technologies (NYSE:RTX), has made a minority investment in electric propulsion system company H55 to drive the development of electric aviation solutions. H55, a spin-off from Solar Impulse, is a leading enabler of electric propulsion solutions and battery systems. The team has proven ability in developing, integrating and flight-testing electric propulsion systems, including Solar Impulse. Working together, Raytheon Technologies and H55will advance electric aviation and demonstrate the advantages of adopting sustainable technologies, which are more efficient and cost effective. This collaboration will further enable the development of state-of-the-art clean aviation mobility solutions.
