Solar Decathlon China (SDC) As an achievement of the Sino-U.S. Strategic and Economic Dialogue, and with the authorization of the U.S. Department of Energy and guidance of the China National Energy Administration, Solar Decathlon China (SDC) is a collegiate competition aiming to create a fully functional, comfortable, livable, and sustainable living space by integrating clean energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection into architectural design. The third SDC event is held in Zhangjiakou (host city of Beijing Winter Olympics 2022), Hebei Province in September 2021, and participated by world-leading universities and R&D teams.
