Kite Turbine Networks are a scalable way to extract wind power for lower cost energy. We propose to deliver a series of autonomous kite turbines, ready for production, based on the working principle and results of our mechanically autonomous, autogyro kite turbines. The launch, operation and recovery of our <2kW kite turbine network prototypes is easy. We are looking for partnership to develop the levels of autonomy necessary to operate the turbines at increased scale. Kite turbine networks have the best scaling and efficiency of any Airborne Wind Energy System (AWES). We have predicted LCOE for as series of models up to 10MW Kite turbine networks are the safest AWES design as there is no single point failure and no running line wear. They are also the only AWES with continuous rotary power output. Kite turbine manufacture is relatively low cost. However, we require further manufacturing capacity and expertise. The turbines are portable. (My son took one to scout camp) We propose the first product is a portable 5kW EV charging compatible system. Kite turbines efficiently align tensile materials to the dynamic of wind energy conversion. This low-mass, high-energy design is the solution to unlocking wind energy potential. We want to harvest energy in the cleanest way possible.
