"Viroblitz" is an Air Steriliser/Deodoriser where we uses Low Energy Cascade Oxidation (LECO) process to sterilise the air.  This doesn’t need chemicals or HEPA filter or UV for sterilising the air. As this technology oxidises any organic molecule, it can not only sterilise, but also deodorise the air. It removes the bad odour causing Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). Therefore, "the dream of a germ free and odour free hospital/home environment can be made a reality by using this technology"The main features of the equipment: - Chemical free sterilisation (close to 100%) - Chemical free deodorization (close to 100%) - Minimal power consumption (50W for 300 Sq. Ft. room) - Noise level non-detectable Compact Capacity tailored to the room size and occupancy As our technology is capable of breaking the hard shell of fungus spores, the lipid membrane of Corona virus should be easy to break. As LECO technology breaks the Carbon Hydrogen bond of all the microorganisms, the destructive power is irrespective of type of microorganisms or viruses, therefore our technology should also remove the Corona virus from the air which in turn reduces the infection rate substantially. And Same technology can be implemented in Centralised Air conditioning for a larger space which can be use in Hospitals, Airports, Malls, theatres etc.

About

Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) are among the most common complications of hospital care, leading to high morbidity and mortality.  While WHO estimates about 7-12% HAI burden in hospitalized patients globally, The figures from India are alarming, with an incidence rate varying from 11% to 83% for different kinds of HAIs [Dr. V Ramasubramanian, Apollo Hospital, Chennai, Indian Journal of Basic and Applied Medical Research; September 2014: Vol.-3, Issue- 4, P. 46-63]. HAI transmitted through airborne microbes is a major challenge to tackle while patients are present in the room.  The airborne microbes are difficult to control because it needs poisonous chemicals to kill microbes and the room need to be isolated during fumigation, the typical cleaning process.   Many methods (fumigation, HEPA filter, Upper-room UV…) are available to sterilise air in the hospitals. Unfortunately, most of these methods have major handicaps like use of harsh chemicals, rooms cannot be used during the sterilisation cycle, difficult maintenance, high operations cost, high investment,….  Yet another aspect is the environmental impact of the sterilisation: As in the case of fumigation, the excess chemicals need to be purged out of the room after the prescribed time of sterilisation.  Thus, all the excess chemicals used for the sterilisation is released into the environment, some of which are even carcinogenic. Yet another issue is the bad odour in hospitals and hotels generated through microorganism activity or other organic source. Most of the odour is caused by volatile organic compounds (VOC). Viroblitz offers a completely new approach to air sterilisation in hospitals - No chemicals & No HEPA filters - Replaces HEPA filters, Fumigation and activated carbon filters - Viroblitz kills germs - HEPA filters only isolate them - Removes germs and odour - causing organic molecules by oxidising them to carbon dioxide - Reduces air exchange rates and lowers the power consumption of air conditioning - Always keeps the germ count very low, not just cyclical like fumigation or UVC lamps - Uninterrupted sterilisation - no need to vacate the room during sterilisation - Does not affect other equipment in the room - Offers more sterilisation power than UVC - Does not produce ozone - Ensures sterilisation in just 0.156 seconds
