Viraj H2 is developing an innovative aeronautical engine based on steam injection, a technology already used in ground-based electricity generation turbines. Our aim is to adapt this principle for aviation to enhance engine efficiency and reduce environmental impact. By injecting steam into the combustion chamber, we optimize the thermodynamic cycle, increasing power output while reducing CO2 emissions. Additionally, steam injection helps minimize non-CO2 effects, such as contrail formation and NOx emissions, further contributing to a cleaner atmosphere. This engine is fully compatible with all fuels, including SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and hydrogen, ensuring versatility for a wide range of applications. By leveraging proven technology, we aim to accelerate the decarbonization of aviation, offering a more efficient and eco-friendly alternative to traditional engines.
