About
VIF Systems, a young Lyon-based company, designs vertical farms. As a company with a mission, it aims to contribute to the ecological transition by preparing the agriculture of tomorrow.
The vertical farms produce healthy food (without pesticides), economical in resources (water in particular), rich in taste and nutrients. Combining an ancient cultivation technique (hydroponics) with innovative LED technology, these farms are a precursor to the agriculture of tomorrow. Complementary to traditional agriculture, vectors for the development of urban agriculture, they will allow the emergence of a protected agriculture (from climatic hazards) and bring production and consumption closer together. Finally, they will cultivate imported products, combining the objectives of food resilience of the territories with those of food sovereignty of the country.
