Limescale in drinking water pipes and household appliances is a common problem throughout many parts of the world and leads to premature, costly repairs. Limescale deposits on the heating rods of the hot water boiler unnecessarily increase energy consumption and worsen the energy balance of the individual home. Until now, limescale deposits have been addressed with salt-based decalcification systems. However, this is associated with unnecessary burdens on health, the environment and high costs for decalcification/maintenance. With this conventional technology, in the small country of Switzerland alone, 50,000,000 kilograms of salt are discharged to drinking and waste water every year. Our customers and products help to stop this nonsense. Tratson GmbH, based in Birmenstorf (Switzerland), develops, produces and distributes limescale protection devices for single and multi-family houses with unique technology based on electromagnetic fields. Our Swiss Made products meet the highest quality standards and efficiently protect both homes and industrial applications from limescale. All Tratson limescale protection devices are absolutely maintenance-free and require neither salt nor other chemicals. The high effectiveness of our technology was documented during 4 years with a dissertation at the ETH Zurich.
