Toucan Solutions is a team of inspired and experienced sustainability, food and IT professionals that have decided to tackle food waste and make sure it was consumed by humans, or up cycled in smart food or related products. We created IT based solutions that connect actors of the food industry and food security NGOs to make sure surpluses are delivered to the right organizations, for the best use possible. We inform recievers by smart phone solutions, we manage the information to create intelligence on food waste and its reduction, we help organizations get more efficient, transparent in their operations.

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label seeks to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, bringing together protection of the environment and financial viability to show that these solutions are not expensive fixes to problems, but rather opportunities for clean economic growth.
