Tickarbone is a company that helps consumers measure the carbon footprint of their purchases.
About
Tickarbone shows the carbon footprint of the customer when paying at the cashier. The main goal is to educate the consumer citizen. Tickarbone also show the national mean value and the kgCO2e/€ ratio. we use public databases to associate each product to its carbon footprint. then, thanks to a partnership with the cashier software editor, it is able to show and send the information to the customer. We also display in the store some products "less emissive than their category mean value", this way the store can increase its sales and take advantage of it. Eventually the information could be directly displayed in the bank app using e-ticket technology.
