About

Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia, is rich in bio-resources. Among them, sustainable and available coconut residue is an excellent bio-resource. Sulakorea will convert it into biofuel in the first stage and produce bio-methanol in the second stage. Korea and Japan must achieve their internationally promised carbon reduction goals by 2030. However, in a situation where renewable energy resources are insufficient, biomass power using bio-resources is a very appropriate choice. Therefore, a large amount of bio-resources is needed. In the first stage of the project, Sulakorea will work to meet the fuel demand of these bio-mass power plants with coconut residue. In the second stage, we will produce bio-methanol. This coconut agricultural residue can also be used as an excellent material for bio-methanol. It is 40% cheaper than e-methanol using electrolysis, so it can be used as fuel for ships and contribute to decarbonization in the shipping industry.
