About

Starfire Energy is making Rapid Ramp NH3 systems to produce clean ammonia (NH3) fuel from air and water using clean electricity. We use our patent-pending catalyst, novel gas removal method, and specialized reactor to achieve this. Ammonia can be combusted for energy, is an easy way to store and transport hydrogen, and has more energy by volume than batteries. Just one 50 tonne per day Rapid Ramp NH3 system will produce enough clean ammonia to displace more than 20,000 tons of CO2 each year. Our ammonia is suitable for high tech applications, direct heat, refrigeration, as a transport medium for hydrogen, and to displace other fossil fuel uses. First sales will be our minimum viable product, the 100 kg/day system. The use of the system varies by customer. Three customers will remotely generate ammonia to save on distribution costs and green their products. Three renewable project integrators will use these as proof of concepts to gain attention and investment for larger systems for remote power generation. We have interest in our second product, a 1 tonne/day system. Remote power generation customers have stated they have interest in this size system as a next step in their expansion activities. Off-shore integrators are looking for this system for their proof of concept projects. High tech and heat-application companies are looking to green their products. The list of companies urgently wanting our 50 tonne/day system is increasing. We are building relationships with customers who need remote power generation, off-shore fuel storage, large community hydrogen storage, and utility company load balancing. The time to invest in our technology is now. With ammonia as an energy carrier being driven forward by political, economical, and social pressures, the market is gaining momentum. Starfire Energy is poised to enter the market with a sustainable source of clean ammonia.
