About

PowerQube offers an innovative solution to convert unused waste heat into clean electricity for companies, generating revenue through product sales and services, as well as through "Waste Heat as a Service" financing. The technology is based on the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) and enables the conversion of waste heat at low temperatures above 100°C. PowerQube targets the European market for waste heat below 200°C, valued at €3.3 billion. The core product is the 20 kWel PowerQube module, with a goal of cost leadership in this segment. Collaborations with partners like the Fraunhofer Institute and KIT support development. Each module can produce up to 180 MWh of electricity and save 80 tons of CO2 annually. Initial pilot installations are planned with well-known industry companies, aiming to start series production by 2026.
