INTRODUCTION

To help governments and businesses achieve their environmental goals through clean, efficient and profitable solutions consistent with qualitative economic growth. To address environmental challenges without compromising economic growth, Bertrand Piccard and the Solar Impulse Foundation have identified 1000+ clean and profitable solutions, and are now committed to going even further. By offering political and economic decision-makers a Guide to Solutions that can be implemented on a large scale, the Foundation will help them establish a roadmap for the adoption of much more ambitious energy and environmental programs and thus achieve their carbon neutrality objectives.

With a staff of about 40, the Foundation is currently looking for its future "Head of Communication".

 COMMUNICATION’S OBJECTIVES The objectives of the Communications Department are : To disseminate a positive, strong and impactful image of the Solar Impulse Foundation in the media, social networks and with our contacts in the political and economic worlds. To position the Foundation as a legitimate partner in the response to the challenges of the environmental crisis. To support Bertrand Piccard's vision, convictions and actions and to support his role as an influencer. To contribute to the Foundation's strategy from a Communication’s perspective. To respond to requests related to Communication from other departments as well as from the Foundation's partners. To create and implement events.

THE COMMUNICATION’S TEAM The "Comm" team is composed of seven people. Specialists in institutional communication, press relations, social networks, campaign management and multi-media. It is completed by "steady" service providers (graphic design, PR, editorial agencies...) « HEAD OF COMM »

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement the Foundation's communication strategy. Define the financial commitments of the proposed projects. Lead and manage the Communication team. Orchestrate communication campaigns according to Bertrand Piccard's calendar, the Foundation's calendar and the events that are part of the "environmental" agenda Ensure the development and updating of communication tools Develop and follow an editorial calendar Measure the impact of the actions undertaken Participate in “Heads of” meetings (Management Committee)and ensure that Communications plays an active role in defining global the objectives and deriving actions.

PROFILE Have a university degree, Master level. At least five years of successful experience in a position of responsibility related to communication. Have already held team’s and budget’s management responsibilities Have an interest with the world of cleantech and sustainable development Have an excellent oral and written skills in French and English Be a Swiss citizen or from a country of the European Economic Area or have a valid work permit.
