About the Solar Impulse Foundation
Through its Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label, the Foundation has identified and assessed more than 1,600 clean innovations: technologies, products, and services that can make a real difference today. These come from startups and corporations across sectors such as energy, mobility, water, construction, waste, agriculture, and the circular economy.

Our mission extends beyond identifying clean and profitable solutions. We work to scale their adoption by activating a broad ecosystem of change-makers, from public institutions and corporates to investors and cities.

We do this by:

  • Advocating for Efficiency: Championing and promoting energy efficiency with governments and institutions so it becomes a core pillar of public policy.
  • Mobilizing Finance: Attracting and directing public and private capital toward clean, low-carbon innovations.
  • Accelerating Market Access: Connecting innovators with economic and public stakeholders through targeted matchmaking activities to facilitate the large-scale deployment of sustainable solutions.
  • Raising Awareness: Informing the public, media, and decision-makers about the importance of energy efficiency, flagship projects, and the sustainable solutions already available.

The Role
The Solar Impulse Foundation is a public-interest, non-profit organization. The support enabling the deployment of clean and efficient solutions is provided thanks to partners who act as patrons of the Foundation. The Foundation’s initiatives are strengthened through collaboration with its partners, making these relationships key to delivering on its mission. The Partner Relations team maintains and develops these strategic relationships, ensuring that each partner’s engagement contributes meaningfully to the Foundation’s mission. The team also creates new collaborations and activates initiatives that amplify the impact of clean technologies within our ecosystem.
