Silphie Paper GmbH, a Papierfabrik Scheufelen spin off founded in 2019, operates paper machine 2 with a yearly capacity of 18,000 tons in Lenningen, Germany. Based on our award winning grass paper development we focus on a holistic supply chain and paper production approach for best in class environmental credentials. To achieve this, we initiated and supported the development of a decentralized, regional and carbon negative non wood fiber production process from silphium perfoliatum and other one year plants. With a staff of 40 dedicated specialists, a fully equipped fiber and paper R&D facility including the Packaging Campus Lenningen as well as a non-woven pilot plant, a strategic partnership with a global player and agricultural and technology partners off site, we truly are a market mover in non-wood paper making.
