About

SeaH4 will farm seaweed in ponds along desert shores, to produce biomass as sustainable feedstock in large scale, to be converted into biogas. The biogas is split into CH4 (to be used as carbon neutral LNG or CNG) and CO2. The CO2 will be synthesised with green hydrogen from 3rd party producers in close proximity into e-methanol. This will localise and lengthen the hydrogen value chain for Africa and make the fuel transportable into the world in a stable fashion with relatively high energy density. These fuels can readily be burned by the existing ships (30% are equipped with LNG engines, 30% with methanol engines). At lesser profitability we can produce sustainable aviation fuels as well as e-diesel and e-petrol
