About

Rype Office has developed the processes and technologies to cost-effectively remanufacture office furniture to as-new condition.
We take the long-life elements of a furniture item (such as steel bases), check and resurface them, and then rebuild the item around these pieces, for example with 100% recycled fabrics. The resulting piece of furniture is half the list price, with an environmental footprint 80% lower than new and doesn’t compromise on style or ergonomic support.
We work with companies to remanufacture their existing furniture and also source used furniture for remanufacturing from wholesale used furniture traders. This is high quality furniture from brand name manufacturers like Herman Miller and Vitra. We have an award-winning team of designers and interior architects who help clients create wonderful workspaces at no charge. We are also developing a range of products manufactured from post-consumer waste plastic, including an elegant board room.
We perform the fit out, including flooring, ourselves and, for large projects, employ as many long term unemployed or disabled people as possible.
