Renetech was established in 2005 as a project developer in the field of renewable energy. Renetech’s business focus is bioresource recovery of energy and by-products (eg. nutrients) from a variety of biomass materials including organic residues and waste streams. Renetech is active in the area of Research and Development as a project developer, project partner and as a consultant for bioenergy, hydro, solar and resource recovery projects. Renetech has being working in East, West and Southern Africa since 2008.

About

Renetech has extensive experience in the development of feasibility studies, funding, procurement, erection and operation of recovery units, converting waste and residues often to multiple utilities such as power, heat and fertilizer. Examples of recent Renetech work:  Project development in biomass-to-fuel and waste-to-fuel in multiple West African countries  Project development in hydropower and solar pv and thermal solar (institutional cooking) – feasibility studies, funding, procurement, implementation  Bioenergy and bioresource recovery ( by-products e.g nutrients ) from a variety of biomass materials including organic residues and waste streams, as experts for national policy development as well as managing implementation of technical solutions.  Renetech was a partner in the FP7 EU research project REFERTIL, http://refertil.info/ With a global perspective, Renetech develops projects in collaboration with technology providers, contractors, equity partners and local stakeholders, analysing and managing the supply and development of renewable energy. In the case of SolarImpulse Foundation we are presenting an innovative solar institutional cooking stove for schools and hospitals.
