About

Reforestum is part of a new generation of marketplaces aiming to make carbon offsets more impactful and trustworthy using a technology stack to improve the transparency of project verification, monitoring, and financing. Reforestum will relaunch in 2020 to serve the b2b and b2b2c markets with only the best projects and offsets verified using satellite analysis and AI to increase trust and transparency in the forest carbon markets. The marketplace can scale in fully automated ways using customer APIs on the demand side, and a combination of in-house tree-planting projects as well as third-party reforestation/avoided deforestation projects through partnerships on the supply side. As carbon compensation becomes a key component of companies’ carbon emissions mitigation strategy, we are solving the issue of lack of trust, transparency, and scalability in the voluntary carbon markets.
