Recnorec is a social enterprise that is shaking up recycling. Its ambition? To recycle non-recyclable plastics that usually end up in landfill or incineration to make an original and eco-responsible material. The Recnorec material can be worked like wood and helps preserve this natural resource. Rot-proof, it has many outdoor applications. 2022 will be the year of our fundraising and the year of the implementation of our industrial demonstrator which will be able to recycle up to 1000 tons of waste per year.
Recnorec's ambition is also to set up a new, affordable plastics processing chain, through a low-tech technology that can be easily deployed on any territory, whether it is underdeveloped or highly developed. Reconciling economic performance,
job creation and environmental benefits : a motivating challenge in the midst of launch.

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label seeks to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, bringing together protection of the environment and financial viability to show that these solutions are not expensive fixes to problems, but rather opportunities for clean economic growth.
