About

NRGYBox offers a solution that is fully in line with the energy sobriety of local authorities to consume less and differently. The company has developed a patented process for controlling public lighting that combines an electronic module with an artificial intelligence module that uses telephone operator traffic data to regulate public lighting. As a result, the street lighting automatically adapts to the number of people on the streets without the need for a presence detector. The installation of the connected box does not require any road works, is installed in a few minutes, in all types of street lamps, whatever their age and automatically adapts the lighting to the different uses of the night according to the days of the week and the seasons to light less and better. NRGYBox optimises the periods when lights are switched off, dimmed or switched on to save energy and reduce light pollution. During the experiments in the different territories, savings reached a minimum of 70% without any complaints from the citizens - after a survey -. On the Château-Bernard experimentation site, an activity zone made up of 92 light points, the community's bill between April 2021 and May 2022 fell from €9,318 to €2,329, i.e. a 75% saving. This bill represents a reduction of 47,000 kWh. On a per light point basis, this represents a saving of €76 and a reduction of 30 kg of CO2 per year, while leaving some of the lighting on.
