About
Nanol Technologies is a developer of lubricant additives designed to among other reduce global transport fuel consumption annually. Nanol is an innovative lubricant additive that protects against wear (WEC) and reduces friction in engines and other mechanical equipment. It is reducing fuel consumption and leaves less carbon footprints. It utilises advanced nanotechnology and contains active copper dispersed in reversed micelles as a stable colloid. The additive forms nano-thin protective copper layer on friction surfaces. This results in reduced wear, increased energy efficiency, decreased fuel consumption, lower operating and maintenance costs and longer equipment life as well as important environmental benefits. Nanol is designed for use in both high performance oil and grease-based lubricants. The technology is based on more than 30 years of fundamental research work and patent applications have been filed to cover the novel technology. Nanol does not contain any isolated particles and therefore does not have any of the health, safety or environmental concerns associated with conventional nanotechnology.
