About
Mitico's proprietary process directly captures carbon dioxide in the flue gas of point-source emitters. The technology is designed to be low cost, widely adaptable across a breadth of technology types and capacities and operate via a simple and robust process model. The development target is to achieve a capture cost below the value of the captured carbon, thus allowing environmental sustainability to generate profits for operators. The absorption process utilized by Mitico can be scaled to apply to the widest range of operating capacities of the host process, enabling small-scale to world-class applications. The process uses pressure- and temperature-swing absorption technology to capture greater than 95% of CO2 in an effluent stream, which provides highly robust and simple operation for operators. Cost-effective capture, across the widest array of applications and scales with a simple, robust process, encourages adoption of Mitico's technology to cut carbon emissions.
