As a subsidiary of the Lingenheld family group founded in 1925 (520 employees and 175 M€ turnover), Lingenheld Environment generates 31 M€ in turnover and employs 70 team members, engineers and specialists dedicated to sustainable activities. Already well experienced Lingenheld Environment is performing Collection, sorting and treatment of bio-waste, Material and energy recovery, Treatment of polluted soils, Waste Storage Facilities and then Port handling. Since 2016, the group's R&D department applied a patent who consists in dry methanization to produce biogas, and green fertilizer as a compost nitrogened. 5 installations have already been carried out successfully in France with prestigious partners (as ENGIE) and large urban agglomerations. The last one near Strasbourg, a real industrial and scientific project, brings together all the advanced technologies and represents an extraordinary showroom. The fermentable bio-waste is resulting from a responsible approach by local communities, encouraging households to sort out and which must participate in protecting the environment and promoting renewable energies. Designed around the Zero odor nuisance objective, all activity is carried out in closed buildings and placed under air pressure. The biogas resulting from anaerobic digestion can be used directly on co-generation units (simultaneous production of heat and electricity) or be used after purification as fuel for vehicles running on gas, or even be injected into the gas network city.
