Keel Labs is a next-generation materials company harnessing the potential of the ocean to create textile solutions. Our flagship product, Kelsun™, is a fiber that is 100% bio-based, made from an abundant biopolymer found in seaweed. By starting our process with seaweed, we diminish the competition for arable land and the harmful additives associated like pesticides and fertilizers while utilizing a regenerative resource. Kelsun is a drop-in solution that fits directly into existing yarn and textile infrastructure, making it a promising material with scalability.
