IRIS offers advanced monitoring and control solutions based on: NIR chemical monitoring (both handheld and in-line); hyperspectral imaging for foreign body detection and chemical composition analysis; digital solutions leveraging machine learning for (big) data processing, decision support, automation and data analysis.
The company is equipped with engineering workshops, food testing and wet chemistry laboratory, optics labs, and an electronics/telecommunications lab.
IRIS is ISO 9001:2008 certified and also is certified under UNE-EN-ISO 166002: Management Systems R&D&I.IRIS is an industry member if the following sectoral networks: SPIRE, SPIE and SECPHO.
IRIS is the Project Coordinator for the EU-funded Agrimax project and have extensive expertise at this level, and in particular in the context of industry-driven R&D projects, both public and private funded.
Agrimax is developing and demonstrating the production of multiple, high-value products from crop and food-processing waste.
