About
IPSOPHENE is an innovative industrial company set up in 2021 in Toulouse, whose primary mission is to produce the active ingredient paracetamol in France, thereby contributing to national and european ealth independence.
Thanks to an innovative continuous manufacturing process, IPSOPHENE is revolutionizing fine pharmaceutical chemistry. This method considerably reduces chemical hazards, waste and costs, while guaranteeing high quality and low environmental impact.
Supported by institutional partners such as the Occitanie Region and France 2030, IPSOPHENE has been able to breathe new life into a former pharmaceutical plant on the Campus Santé du Futur in Toulouse, where it plans to start production in 2027. The aim is to cover half of France's demand for paracetamol and market its product on a European scale. This project is part of a wider drive to re-industrialize, create local jobs and promote health sovereignty.
