About

Inaventa Solar is a Norwegian solar energy company, that aims to industrialise and commercialise innovative solar collector technology. Our goal is to become a spearhead in the field of green energy production. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group 3 Norske AS, that has incorporated principles of sustainability into all its business areas. Inventa Solar offers a new solar heating concept based on cost-effective and architecturally appealing solar collectors in high-performing polymer materials. The shift from metals to new materials such as polymers and ceramics is seen across many sectors, including automotive industry, aviation, consumables and construction. A reduction in weight and chemical sustainability is a key benefit of such a shift; as is the fact that large-scale industrial processing techniques have already been developed for polymeric products. Solar collectors in metals are produced piece by piece with fixed spatial dimensions. Solar collectors of polymer materials can be produced in continuous processes and easily be adapted to a variety of dimensions and to customers’ requests. A new facility for the manufacturing of solar collectors is under construction to expand production capacity and realize the potential of the technology. This will be the first factory of its kind in the world.
