Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies has developed a commercially available Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (LOHC) technology for safe handling of hydrogen. Our innovative solution is based on a commercially available heat transfer oil called dibenzyltoluene. The LOHC-technology is expected to become the backbone of a global renewable energy infrastructure. Our technology is applied to efficiently store and flexibly distribute hydrogen from sources to use points in industry and mobility. The utilization of the existing fuel infrastructure for the transportation of our LOHC is a significant advantage. Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies, founded in 2013, based in Erlangen, Germany, has over 80 dedicated employees. With our investors, technological and strategical partners we pursue the vision of a hydrogen based energy world - efficient, truly sustainable and emission-free. On the basis of the latest investments from Royal Vopak, Covestro, Mitsubishi Corporation, Winkelmann Group, Hyundai Motor Corporation and initial investments from AP Ventures and partnerships with companies such as Frames, Clariant, Eastman Chemicals, MAN and Cryotec, we are very well positioned to make our vision a reality.
