Hive Power is developing the Hive Platform, a SaaS solution for Smart Grid Analytics. It will include several data-driven solutions for optimal asset management and operation of Grid Operators and Energy Retailers.
About
Hive Power is a spin-off of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). The company was founded in 2017 when its co-founders identified the high commercial value of their R&D expertise and pilot projects within the energy market. Hive Power is implementing innovative software solutions and pioneering business models to reach the 4Ds of a sustainable energy future: Decarbonisation, Digitalisation, Decentralisation, and Democratisation. So far, the company has raised 919k€ mainly from grants from the European Commission and the Swiss Federal Office of Energy. This capital has been invested in the prototyping and validation of the Hive Platform. Hive Power is now seeking the final financial support to complete the product development at the fully operational and scalable level and release its disruptive energy-intelligence platform into the market, guiding Europe towards the Green revolution.
