Every year, 8 million tons of plastics end up in our oceans, 80% directly coming from our rivers. The solution to limit the pollution of rivers and to slow down the extension of “plastic oceans” must therefore be located upstream of the river mouths.
H2OPE has invented and patented a waste collector especially designed to operate on rivers : the River Whale.
This innovative device can operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It acts as a part of the global river cleaning services we offer.

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label seeks to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, bringing together protection of the environment and financial viability to show that these solutions are not expensive fixes to problems, but rather opportunities for clean economic growth.
