GULPLUG was founded in 2014 in Grenoble, France by Xavier Pain and Eric Marsan. Originally a Schneider Electric Open Innovation project, GULPLUG today is a thriving startup that develops innovative electrical and internet connection technologies. The company’s mission is to facilitate the energy transition by delivering solutions to enable clean mobility, like the SELFPLUG®, designed for plug-in electric and hybrid vehicles and autonomous vehicles.
GULPLUG’s groundbreaking solutions have won the company several awards since 2018:

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label seeks to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, bringing together protection of the environment and financial viability to show that these solutions are not expensive fixes to problems, but rather opportunities for clean economic growth.
