About

PROBLEM Heavy CO2 emissions and gases released into the atmosphere by iron & steel industries radically effect human, animal and plant life.Furthermore, the depletion of mineral reserves that is being utilized and the intensive energy being used in mining operations not only destroy delicate natural habitats, but also pollute the surrounding air, water, and soil. The production of new metal releases a far greater amount of greenhouse gas emissions compared to making products from recycled steel waste. Therefore, in order to prevent this and preserve the environment, Green trek recycles steel waste thus conserving natural resources by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and using less energy than making metal from virgin ore. SOLUTION Green trek participates in a gigantic effort to reduce CO2 emissions and gases by Recycling Steel Waste through a process that does not utilize electric power and creates negligible emissions. It contribute to the solution by using thermal energy to melt, converting steel waste such as oxides, ores and metallic scrap into green steel. Since higher thermal efficiency means more heat is retained in the process, total heat generation is lower than in less-efficient processes, where heat losses are higher. This lowers the amount of fuel burned and, with it, carbon emissions to create a more efficient, less carbon-intensive steel making process. Improving the thermal efficiency of a steel making process is one of the quickest and easiest ways to start reducing its associated carbon emissions. The equation is simple. Since higher thermal efficiency means more heat is retained in the process, total heat generation is lower than in less-efficient processes, where heat losses are higher. Our goal is to catalyze change, not to hold it back.
