About
At depths between 10m to a few 100 m, the temperature of the ground remains undisturbed all year, at a typical value of 12 to 15°C. This geo-energy, or surface geothermal energy, is a local, sustainable, non-carbonated, discreet and silent energy from the shallow subsoil. It is at this stage largely under-exploited in France, mainly because owners are not aware of their underground resources.
At Geosophy, we develop Physics and financial models, using data science and machine learning techniques to automatize and refine feasibility studies of geo-energy installations. We are therefore able to assess geo-energy potential of buildings, both on technical and commercial aspects, at park or building level.
Geosophy allows real estate and construction professionals to assess the geo-energy potential of the subsoil of a building to be renovated or built. They can thus cool their buildings in summer and heat them in winter, dividing their energy costs by 5, and reducing the carbon footprint of a building by up to 90%.
