Genevos Opportunity Opportunity to join a cleantech start-up under rapid growth with an objective to eliminate marine pollution through green-hydrogen power solutions. Genevos produces novel hydrogen fuel cell modules offering a drop-in zero emission power solution for marine vessels from 15 kW to multi-MW to replace conventional fossil fuelled systems. Today, the team is proud to supply technology to globally recognised centres of excellence in hydrogen and performance innovation. Genevos is in the process of commercialising this unique, modular technology for installation in a variety of hybrid and zero emission craft, including but not limited to service vessels, high-speed ferries, and recreational boats. A range of Hydrogen Power Modules (HPMs) are available including a 15 kW, 40 kW, and 80 kW, offering immediate scalability and redundancy when connected in parallel. The Candidate Genevos is recruiting a Sales Manager responsible for increasing profitable revenue through existing and new business, in alignment with the company’s commercial roadmap and marine decarbonisation objectives. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of sales in the maritime sector, and be proficient in English and French. Understanding of power solutions, fuel cells and hydrogen will be viewed as a bonus. The Role •End-to-end project management in identifying, creating and managing bids for projects with existing and new clients •Implement excellent client relationship management to enable customer loyalty and recommendations for business opportunities •Increase sales revenue in line with company targets •Manage and report on key targets identified through market monitoring and analysis •Monthly progress reporting to leadership team •Coordinate with marketing for lead generation sales strategy •Collaborate with technical team for client needs analysis •Communicate with clients, project managers, key suppliers, contractors, business executives •Promote the company and products on social media and other relevant platforms Experience / Qualifications •A proven manager with a robust track record of sales in the global or European market (low carbon technologies preferable) •Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales management •Demonstrated ability for end-to-end project management •Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field at minimum Required Skills •Language fluency: English and French •Positive approach: motivated and energetic •Proficient communicator: excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Timely responsiveness and professional communications •Project management: strong organisational and project management skills for managing multiple projects •Problem-solver: target-oriented, with analytic problem-solving capabilities in line with business objectives and strategy •Self-organised: able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively •Experience with sales tools such as Salesforce to manage leads, opportunities and client accounts Additional Information •Work Location: Charente Maritime / La Rochelle region.
