About
FlyNow Aviation is an Austrian aviation company specializing in the development of an aircraft called the eCopter, designed for use as an electric cargo drone and air taxi.
The eCopter is a fully electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft that offers a quiet, zero-emission, and affordable alternative to urban road transport. Engineered for both cargo and personal transport, this aircraft features a 50 km range, 130 km/h top speed, and 200 kg payload. It delivers maximum efficiency with zero CO₂ emissions, low energy consumption of just 30 kWh per 100 km, and noise level of 55 dB(A) at 150 meters.
The eCopter family includes single- and two-seater air taxis, a cargo version capable of transporting a Euro pallet, as well as firefighting and rescue variants.
By following the "cradle-to-cradle“ principle, we reduce resource consumption by a factor of 5, energy use by a factor of 2, and infrastructure efforts by a factor of 100 compared to existing 2D mobility concepts.
