Fiora Mara is a climate company pioneering a nature-based solution to combat climate change through ocean-based decarbonization. The company leverages large-scale, biodegradable seaweed farms to capture massive amounts of carbon from seawater and the atmosphere.
On maturity, the seaweed farms sink to the deep ocean floor, permanently storing 96% the captured carbon and addressing issues such as ocean acidification and increasing biodiversity.
Fiora Mara will sell carbon credits to companies at a lower cost than traditional methods, contributing to long-term carbon removal and a healthier marine ecosystem
