About

Expliseat combines high performance materials like carbon fiber and titanium and innovative design to develop new cutting edge solutions in the transport industry. Our solutions offer optimal transport efficiency to our Customers. In 2013, we have certified the first and only aircraft seat with a primary structure in composite; the TiSeat. TiSeat is the World lightest certified aircraft seat. Starting at 4 kg, the seat is 40% to 60% lighter when compared to other certified aircraft seats in the market. Our advanced technology is allowing our customers to save 1.5 tons on their single aisle aircraft like the Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 or 500 kg on their regional aircraft like ATR or Dash 8 aircraft. For more details, the seat is certified according to latest ETSO C127b requirements from EASA (the European airworthiness agency). Those requirements include 16g dynamic tests that simulate an aircraft accident and Head Injury Criteria (HIC) tests to insure passengers safety. TiSeats are available on Airbus A320, Boeing 737, De Havilland Dash 8, COMAC ARJ21, ATR and Dassault Falcon Jets. In 2020, TiSeat is flying with 15+ customers worldwide with great feedback and recognized benefits on both revenues and the environment: *Huge positive impact on fuel saving and environment footprint with more than 400 tons CO2 saving per year per aircraft on Single Aisle aircraft, *Customizable seat platform selected by low-cost or legacy airlines recognized by Skytrax on short-haul or long-haul operation, *Use of recycled carbon fiber to reduce the environment footprint, *One of the lowest direct maintenance cost reported thanks to the extensive use of long lasting materials with no plastic parts, *First high-density regional aircraft with both ATR at 78 pax and De-Havilland at 90 pax, 4 more pax than previous configuration with no impact on aircraft performance. Our profitable solutions to protect the environment have been selected by multiple airlines all over the World like SpiceJet in India, Air Tahiti in the Pacific, Porter Airlines in Canada or Cebu Pacific in the Philippines.
