EME’s secure digital platform fosters the transition to a Circular Economy as it enables the supply and demand of secondary materials to meet across industries. The platform relies on innovative tools such as a Resources Passport to give materials an identity and collect material information in a structured manner, a Tracking & Tracing module (TT) to follow the physical items via their resources passports; a Valuation module (VM) to give a financial, environmental and societal value to products/materials and a matchmaking platform (MM) to facilitate matchmaking of products/materials.
