About

Euroheat & Power (EHP) is the international network for district energy, promoting sustainable heating and cooling in Europe and beyond. We are a not-for-profit association headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, which unites the district energy sector. Our members come from over thirty countries around the globe and include national district heating and cooling associations, utilities operating district energy systems, industrial associations and companies, manufacturers, universities, research institutes and consultancies active in the sector. EHP advocates for the complete decarbonisation of the heating and cooling sector, and the broader energy system, as part of a socially and environmentally just transition, coordinating European-wide activities to promote district heating and cooling networks as vectors for the decarbonisation of the built environment. EHP illustrates the benefits of district heating & cooling for the uptake and integration of renewable energy sources and waste heat/cold, provision of flexibility to the broader energy system and delivery of sustainable heating and cooling services to European cities while working towards the growth and modernisation of the DHC industry. The organisation has profound experience participating in and coordinating European projects, liaising with European policy-makers, organising events and managing outreach activities.
