About
Ethikis ad civis has been created in 2018 by Elsa Lomont, Co-Founder and CEO and Florent Preguesuelo. Two conscious consumers convinced by ecology and by the need to enhance responsible consumption and production system. Based in Toulouse (SW France), this social enterprise (“ESUS” French government approval) aims at participating in the resolution of current environmental and social issues by developing pragmatic solutions designed by citizens for citizens. With a dynamic and creative mindset, the founders are more driven by creating social values than just generating profit. Therefore, they chose the business status of cooperative to build this enterprise as a cooperative. Ethikis works with manufacturers, communities, stakeholders and civil society to maximise the impact of its actions. The LONGTIME® Label is the first service developed by Ethikis which has been a finalist of the Social Innovation Tournament 2019 organised by the European Investment Bank and winner of the “My Project for the Planet” prize awarded by the French Ministry of Environment in 2018. It is a concrete response to the production of premature waste and the pressure on the planet's resources.
