Plastic packaging and plastic are present everywhere and it will be for a long time, BUT fossil resources are limited and the fight for global warning is on reducing CO2 impact. At ERANOVA, we do consider that the bioeconomy should be linked to sustainability. We are using the vast potential of algae, a pollutant, to make the new generation of bio-based plastics packaging. We applicate the cascade principle to avoid any possible distortions in the use of biomass from their primary purposes. All produced material are within The Blue Bio Circular Economy The ERANOVA project fit with 4 EN SDG : 13 - Climate action ( CO2 and Nitrates reduction ) 14 - Life below water ( Algae bloom reduction , water Bioremediation ) 15 - Life on land ( Preserve Arable land not using vegetal crops for plastics , ... 17- Partnership for the Goal ( Implement technology in countries offering job and housing by combining Waste plastics with Algae Bloom to produce Deckling and cladding)
